Can a Pharma MSc Qualify You in Denmark?
A pharmaceutical sciences MSc is not automatic permission to practise as a pharmacist in Denmark. If you hold an Indian pharmacy qualification, separate the master's academic purpose from recognition of your existing qualification and the immigration permission needed for work.
Three similar program names need separate checks
The University of Copenhagen's English-language Pharmaceutical Sciences MSc focuses on drug-related study and research. Its career guidance explicitly says the degree does not qualify graduates to practise as pharmacists at community or hospital pharmacies in Denmark. It is distinct from its Pharmacy MSc, which is taught in Danish.
There is also a separate Danish-taught Pharmaceutical Sciences program, whose page carries a similar professional-practice warning. Check each program's own admission requirements rather than transferring them between these similarly named degrees.
The practical lesson is to record the exact program, teaching language and professional function. “Pharma master's in Copenhagen” is too imprecise to support a career plan.
Separate the employer setting from professional permission
The Danish Medicines Agency's foreign-pharmacy guidance provides the relevant distinction:

For applicants qualified outside the EU/EEA, the agency's pharmacist route asks for documents including the pharmacy diploma, evidence of the right to practise in the home country, transcript, syllabus and specified Danish-language evidence. A master's admission offer does not replace this assessment.
Do not assume that adding the years of an Indian BPharm and an unrelated MSc proves equivalence to Denmark's pharmacist education. Ask the agency how your actual training and documents will be assessed. Likewise, the absence of an agency-permission requirement for industry is not a guarantee of employment or immigration eligibility.
Test the degree against the role you want
Start with a concrete role: formulation research, drug-safety analysis, or patient-facing pharmacy practice. Then make two separate lists: the academic preparation the program offers and the professional conditions the role requires.
For each master's, record its exact award, language, curriculum and admission requirements. For each role, record the regulator or employer's qualification requirements and any unresolved language or permission questions. Resolve a mismatch before treating the course as your route to that job.

Their shortlisting notes cover drug-development modules but contain no professional-recognition or Danish-language assessment. The missing step is to investigate the agency's pharmacist route. Changing the statement to say “hospital pharmacist” would not make the selected academic program confer that permission.
If their actual interest is formulation research, the curriculum comparison changes. They can investigate relevant research training and industry roles without assuming that pharmacist authorization is the admission or employment criterion for every position.
