Academic reference letters in English for European and international programs and scholarships - DAAD, Erasmus Mundus consortia, and Dutch, German, and Nordic master's programs. Reviews the writer's vantage, incident evidence, comparisons and grades an outside reader can use, whose voice the letter speaks in, and a destination-specific endorsement; a named program's or scholarship's explicit instructions to referees supersede this cross-program rubric. Letters for US-bound applications belong to the Graduate School Recommendation Letter (MS/PhD) rubric instead.
