What We Check

1
Personal Practice and Perspective

Whether a supplied personal prompt is answered with a personal practice, perspective, interest, or experience that is made understandable through particulars.

2
Career Direction and Horizon Relationship

Whether a supplied career prompt states the requested career direction and, where asked, explains the relationship between nearer and longer-term horizons.

3
Information Added Across Supplied Answers

Whether each supplied answer adds different information when two or more prompt-answer pairs are under review.

Mistakes We Flag

Using broad identity claims
Saying you are passionate, unique, curious, or collaborative without showing a practice, experience, action, or observation leaves the reader without a basis for the claim.
Naming career goals without context
A broad ambition can be hard to understand. State the role, work setting, problem, or people affected when the prompt asks for career direction.
Leaving short- and long-term plans disconnected
If you name two career horizons, explain what the nearer role will help you build, learn, test, or enable for the later direction.
Repeating the same message across answers
When more than one prompt-answer pair is provided, each response should use facts, examples, aims, or perspectives that do its own prompt’s job.
Relying on titles or team results as proof
A title or company outcome does not show your contribution by itself. Explain what you did, what was affected, and what followed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to discuss personal background in every response?

No. Personal material is relevant when the supplied prompt asks for personal perspective, interests, experiences, or comparable information. A career or factual prompt does not automatically require it.

What should I include in a career-goals response?

Follow the supplied prompt. When it asks for career direction, make the requested direction concrete through details such as role, work context, problem, or beneficiary; explain the connection between nearer and longer-term plans if that relationship is requested.

Can I reuse the same career paragraph in more than one answer?

Keep only essential shared context. Each supplied answer should add distinct information that addresses its separate prompt.

Do all answers need to read like full essays?

No. A direct short field can be a phrase when it supplies the requested fact. Give each response the amount of structure the prompt needs.
